There's nothing more irritating than losing valuable space in your home, especially when you've worked hard to carve out a place for yourself. This little sister made sacrifices her entire adult life to get to where she was, in a comfortable 2-bedroom apartment with a home office and comfortable leg room to stretch out. However, the eldest still felt that her sister should subvert her lifestyle to accommodate hers. That's not fair, no matter how you slice it.

I'm a morning person, and I used to have a roommate who was a night owl. Luckily, we each had our own set of over-the-ear headphones to accommodate our lifestyles, but if either of us ever lapsed in our discretion during the crossover hours, chaos would ensue, breaking both of our rhythms in the process. It was a delicate dance that only a pair of thoughtful individuals could balance. If one party breaks the treaty, all hope is lost for peace.
That's why, especially when it comes to sisters who have no filter, it's safest to keep this particular relationship at arm's length… Or at least out of a shared apartment.
